MONTY

Meet Monty!

No, he's not mine, but I loved visiting with him the other day.
I don't only love baby birds, I think all baby animals are beautiful.

It didn't take long for him to wear out . . .

Good night Monty, I'll be back to visit again soon.

These are a couple of snaps from a Garden Visit I went on B4
Christmas.

It was a VERY deep block, and loveliness was everywhere.

We enjoyed Tea in the Garden and it was very relaxing.

Lots of interest spots

. . . and I loved this Bottle Brush.

December End

The days have been warm - the sun has burnt my skin

Since breaking up from School a week ago . . .

I've been doing little else but GARDENING!

To a non-gardener, this must seem crazy, but for me, it soothes me and fills me with pleasure, calm and satisfaction.

The only thing that slows me down, and occasionally stops me, is my weary bones, sore toe and the heat.

It is just so much fun outside, playing every day.  So much to see and so much to do.  I have HUGE piles of weeds and clippings to fill the trailer with.

Nature is amazing!

. . . and then there are my birds

I have a rest when I check up on them and admire them, more than several times a day.

Tomorrow is going to be a 'scorcher' so I might have to play in my sewing room in the cool.

. . . but I do love playing outside in my garden the best!

Christmas Cheer

In between all the busy times, I snuck a little Christmas Sewing in for my Teaching Buddies.

I enjoyed a touch of sewing, but I'm mostly found out in my garden at the moment.  So much to do after being off my feet for so long.
Merry Christmas to everyone
I'm officially on holidays now, so I could be back . . . sooner rather than later

One Day of School to go for the year . . .

Will I make it?

My birds keep me sane

Oh Christmas Tree

This year with all that's been going on, we've decided to have . . .
just a little tree.

. . . and a few surprises!

'Burgundy Ice' is such a great performer in my garden.

. . . and yes, there are more babies today on inspection.
Only the strong survive, but I would estimate that there would be about 12 babies in different nests right now.  Very exciting.

Back to School for the last

Just letting you all know that I struggled back to school on Monday and am getting a little stronger every day.  It's really knocked the wind out of my sails.

So much still to do, with only a week and a half to the end of our school year.
Thank goodness for my flowers . . .

I will be glad to say goodbye to 2013
